Hello, I just got a traktor audio 6 and have it set up with my external mixer an d 2 turntables. I'm a turntablist and all the scratching went fine for me because I can track samples by touch. But I just tried to do some beat juggling and I noticed that the songs I try and use do not match with the 12:00 position on the record. The grids are fine. But for my needs I need to be able to set the cue to line up with the 12:00 positions.

so far the only work around I can find is to set the record at 12:00 manually then, play the song internally hit the cue marker then click relative mode. which takes a while. is there a work around or setting that fixes this?

    Thanks.

I think you can just hit the cue point when the marker reaches 12 ,then the deck switches automatically to relative.

^This. Hold the record with your marker wherever you want it, and hit cue.

In theory - you don't even need a marker on your records for juggling with timecode. Just set a cue point at each juggle point. Now, you can stop the record with your hand, and hit cue. No need to back spin, and no need to watch the marker.

I guess that's the only solution. It would cool if NI could add some stuff for beat jugglers.

And the above is appreciated but if I wanted to do that I'd just get. A controller and I use back spinner snares a
    Lot.

Wow blame my iPhone for how that turned out.

On a basic level add a beat juggle mode so you just have to click or press a controller button and a special second set of cue points would turn off vinyl controll for a moment and re enable it on the next exact 0.00 mark.
Take that a step further and add the option to add a juggle grid so you can personally set your grid so your loop starts at the 0.00 mark but still retain a normal grid for standard mixing

Or make a special set of cue points that when pressed automatically re configure the controll vinyl to 12:00 so you can go into a juggle from a mix

It's alright. I'll make do I guess I can just stick to direct through and vinyl for now.

I'm not upset but it would be a nice feature.

Never really had a problem with holding the record at 12 and hitting a cue point on my keyboard/controller and... that's it. One press. Or setting cues on the fly is two presses. Certainly not enough of a problem not to use it at all!

It's alright, I still need to work in my control vinyls the grooves are way to tight still and be skipping all over the place.
