It would be great to have a time stretching function within the basic maschine program and not within another program within maschine. There may be room within the sampling mode to add another option. If i really had my way, the time stretching would be similar to logic's flex time with some improvements in the swing area if needed. Being able to quantize the samples before turning them into midi information would be great... obviously making changing tempos of my own samples much easier. thank you for reading.

the should have added this feature a long tttttttt.....iiiii....mmmmm....eeeee ago. There you go time stretch. Ha ha.
    ---
On a serious note, they need to add this feature soon. A lot of people are getting mad about this. Plus Akai and other competitors are starting to step up. So NI please add this feature soon. NI if you’re not going to do it then say so, don't leave people hanging.

The newly announced MPCs will only have offline timestretch, whenever they actually finish it, that is.

NI has already said a long time ago that that they are going to give Mashine built-in timestretch and that it will work in realtime. And they already said when it's coming: "when it's ready".

Timestretch, by definition, means locking the pitch.
