    In the settings tool of the audio 4 i got line input, so normally that's owkay. but on what tool is the problem?

    ok, if you have line mode chosen in the settings panel, you're good.
    please give us somewhat more information on what equipment you use etc.

    yes makesure you go inot audio 4 settings and choose line or phono. I have a dell and had 2 disconnect my wifi minicard as well to keep it from skipping
