    Hello,

I recently bought Traktor Scratch Pro. I am using vinyl timecode. I have noticed that when I flick the fader on my mixer (so that the audio signal is stopped) and bring the record back, the playback continues from the point where it would have been had I not temporarily muted the signal.

This is all well and good, but I'm trying to move the playback back to the beginning of a sample without the sound of the sample in reverse so that I can scratch properly.

Is this an error, am I missing something, or am I just being a bit idiotic?

sounds like you need to be in absolute mode, and you are in relative mode. there are some buttons on the deck, underneath the waveform. one has a record on it, the other has a record with a tonearm. hit the button with the tonearm and try again.

That did the trick, thanks! :)
