...I'd really like the Pro-53 filter to be implemented. In the last days I've experimented more than ever to translate some of my Pro-53 patches into Massive. I have achieved good results with both the 4-pole and the Acid filter (at different setting than the Pro-53 though), but to come closer to the original I'd like the Pro-53 filter to be implemented into Massive. Reaktor and Kontakt already have it, so I think it wouldn't be a problem.

Another thing I would like to see in this regard is to use an oscillator as a modulation source for another oscillator (at least for the PWM osc's). Another solution would be to equip the modulation oscillator with 1. more modulation destinations, for instance also to modulate the frequency and the pulse-width of a PWM osc, and 2. with an option to choose between a saw, square, triangle and sine wave-form instead of just using a sine. However, in order to come closer to the the Pro-53 I'd prefer the first solution.

Beside of appeasing disgruntled Pro-53 users like me :) I think these would be useful enhancements for every Massive user.

(And I really don't think that this is an utopian request, so please...)

+1 I like the idea of a pro53 filter in massive, and the osc chaining would be a good addition.

...yup, as far as I see it the big difference between the Pro-53 and Massive (my starting point is to emulate my Pro-53 patches in Massive) is the poly-mod section in which you can modulate the the filter, the frequency and the pulse-width of osc a with the filter envelope and osc b. such things are already possible to a certain degree, but there is still something missing. I'd be so happy if NI would include the filter and the poly-mod section and perhaps even the oscillators (though most of it can be recreated using Massive's third oscillator - osc b of the Pro-53 can mix three waveforms). And IF then there would be also a feature to import most of the settings of a Pro-53 patch into Massive it could be a whole new inspiration approach for sound designers - like when you imported dx7 or tx patches into the FM7/8. All you'd need then would be a bit of additional tweaking and expanding the sound using Massive's features...

...the vowel filters from Kontakt or the Guitar Rig Talkwah (don't know if they're actually the same) would also be a nice addition....

...also tempo-synced multi-segment envelopes like in Absynth or FM8...

...as well as an fx edition and a value display for the parameters that I've mentioned here:

...an audio input and a vocoder, an envelope follower, a recorder for an audio signal which can be used as a modulator - basically something to turn Massive into a voice-controlled synth for a lot of experimentation and performance fun...

...and of course, the Pro-53 features!

...so that's it, NI - you have all the features for the next update, you can stop planning and start coding now... :D
