I dont know if your mom or dad ever explained to you that if you dont like someone you generally tell them instead of having to hide behind such stupid medium of trying insult someone. Grow up, you are just making the ratings a useless method for anyone to know if what they are downloading is worth their time or not. You can always just reply here and tell me if you think im a jerkoff. Its okay. This is just a forum.

    Dude, don't be such a jerkoff. ;-)

Seriously though, at this point, no one considered the ratings valid, so just ignore them and don't take them personality.

im not taking it personally really. it just seems like a waste. i mean, i assumed it took a bit of intelligence to use something like reaktor, and the idea that someone would take the time to go around and post one's i mean don't they have something better to do? Like program thier own ensembles rather than go around and try and depreciate the work that other people do. We post and trade ensembles for a reason. We all are trying to acheive some type of end result out of all the ensembles that we download. I dont have to upload any ensembles that i do, but i owe it to everyone to do so since 90% of the instruments i use on a daily basis are one's from this library. This type of behaviour works against the grain of user's and programmers alike.

    Who really cares the rating?
the only way to know if an ensmble suits you or not is to dowlnload it and give it a try...

Hello Disqo sorry to hear about your distress.

What ensembles have you made? If you want, I'll look 'em up and put a nice plump 10 on 'em for you.

The voting is all a nonsense, you know: It's the comments that are interesting.

it's fascinating really ... we homo sapiens just have to break things. it must be part of our nature, perhaps the flip side of our insatiable creative appetite? create a rating system, someone will break it; create a network, someone will hack/crack/crash it; create a computer, someone will infect it with viruses; create a group of cultures, someone will start a war. and so on and so forth ... ad homo absurdum infinitum vobiscum ... A-MEN.

    aye

Aye, there are forces for good and evil in this world, my friend.

A POX on that foul, heinous, cod-stenchment that is foulness... and foul offal-octupussal sludge begone from this world. I banish thee!

My Favourite 10 User Uploaded Ensembles are ...

Why don't people just post a message, with the above title, and list their favourites?

Maybe even a comment or two?

That way there is accountability and nice complements/useful criticism available.

I know I would like to see how the skilled Reaktor programmers view the work of other programmers who upload thier work.

I dont mind criticism. Rachmiel gave a few criticism points. Thats great. I ask for criticism all the time. Whatever will help me be a better programmer i'm all for it. Cant really take criticism personally cause the only real person im trying to make like the ensemble is myself. As soon as i get done doing all this sample work that im doing, im going to take care of any points i was criticized on. But voting 1's on ensembles cause you dont like someone? C'mon we're not in jr high here. Its just the principle is all. It just seems like gutless taunting. It irks me. Thanks for the offer of voting a 10 spoombung. I could do that meself tho.

yo yo... i think its a flaw of design by ni more then the users to blame... a simple solution would be to only allow one to rate after they've submitted a comment.

    Excellent!
At least then we'd get more comments, which
    say much more than ratings!

That's as simple as it is effective. Any chance this is going to be implemented soon, NI?
