Toggle Interaction Mode missing for Button assignment

Is anyone else seeing a problem when you assign a modifier for instance to a button but 'toggle' mode is not listed in the drop down menu?

I could do this in earlier versions of Pro and also when I imported my previous TSI, it has toggle modes for modfiers but if I create a new entry 'toggle' is not available as an option.

This is a bit frustrating because you cannot map certain buttons correctly.

 

yeah i posted a similar thread in reference to my korg nanoPAD (rendered useless).

have you tryed LEARNing any of your buttons? mine register as FADER/KNOB.

 

The control I'm using the assignment for was learned and fader/knob type won't work I had already filed a bug because we lost the ability to assign Toggle as an interaction type.

I'm glad I wasn't going crazy. Having the same issue with my NanoPAD.

 

no prob! about the learning, i just found the assignment quite odd...and yes, totally useless. i've been told that a user has perfect integration with his VCI-100 after a few reinstalls...i've tried that, but as yet to no avail.

BTW, any idea why i haven't received a link to the bug tracker? wasn't sure if i should wait on the email and i didn't see anything in the forum about it (in case i find more issues).

 

Should be in an email with a Bug Tracker password. Did you check your junk mail.

 

i did, and i've cleared it to make sure i don't miss it if it does drop in there i've also submitted my login on the beta page once more just in case.

Well this assignment deficiancy causes problems with certain modifiers. I'm still working on the NS7 mappings.

any possibility of a workaround .tsi import?

 

in the wee hours just before bedtime i found this possible solution in my own thread about this particular issue. hopefully it works:

it's a bit too late for me to try this out tonight, but for the rest of you test out this workaround...and if it works, take a moment and give mad props to SHEMLOO.

I can confirm that this does work.

 

Yes that would work for the nanopad pad but not for my application because I'm already using controls with note values.
