    Using GR5 without any audio input, you can still create some pretty interesting tones. With an LFO (or other modifier) linked to the Pro-Filter's cut-off knob (when resonance is at maximum level), it creates a self-oscillating frequency. Adding a splitter or crossover for more filters and modifiers will add even more depth to the sound. I haven't seen any examples of this with GR alone, but it's probably been done as a guitar effect. Either way it's fun to jam on.

    Using a midi note to CC converter, it should be possible to control the filter cutoff with a midi keyboard as well, making it act more like a synthesizer.
