    Hi,
    I am trying to amend the Touch Sensitivity Settings (TOUCH) on my Traktor s8. The manual says
    1. When in the Settings, press the lower left-hand Display Button twice to switch to the TOUCH settings.

    2. Turn the Performance knobs underneath the display to increase or decrease global touch sensitivity for different kinds of controls: ENCODERS, ENDLESS KNOBS, KNOBS, and FADERS.

      However when I am in settings it will not do anything when I follow the above instructions? Any ideas anyone? Please help??

    Hello,

    I've never needed this, but I can confirm - it is not functional. The manual of S8 is little bit confusing in many ways :(

    Hi a5tro,
    Thanks for the reply. I think I know what you mean, the S8 Manual is confusing and at times just wrong (maybe its been the updates since they released the manual?) anyway, thanks for the heads up, seems this function does’nt exist despite being in the manual.

    What version of the manual are you guys using? I'm not saying the CAPTURE error has been corrected in the version I have, but I could not find reference to the sensitivity settings as shown above. The latest I have is setup guide v2.10 and manual v2.11.

    yes, you are absolutely right - above posted "touch setting" screenshot is not in the latest version of manual. My bad, I have opened the outdated one:

    But, even in the version "2.11" there is a mention of possibility to configure "touch sensitivity" via setting button @ p.193 & p.246: "(3) Settings Button: The Settings button opens the device settings, allowing you to adjust RGB calibration (color rendition) and screen brightness, as well as TOUCH sensitivity of the knobs. For more information, refer to section ^4.7.4.3, Settings Button."

    But I understand, creation of manual that complex is really hard task - and it is even harder while constantly changing/updating software. And I think, that this setting was removed in one of those (2?) firmware updates ... so another variables in game :)
