Touchstrip problems with X1 MK2

    Hello Im new in the forum but not with NI products as is the first time that I got real issues with some of them. I bought 2 X1s MK2 and one of the works perfectly and I love the new features, but the other the touchstrip almost not work, has very little sensibility. Ive tried contact NI for warranty with no answer yet, and the retailer from Ebay has not answer me yet so Im a little bid worried now with this defective item. I want an other one as I really loved the new X1! But its seems strange to me that nobody else got this problem, I'm such an unlucky bastard??? BTW the x1 has the last firmware I'm using the last version of traktor as well, and using osx 10.8.

    I hope this post help me to get a faster response from NI and to see if other people got this problem! I love NI BTW f1s works beautiful as well as traktor with pioneer djm900 nexus (best mixer I ever had!).

    Did you get any results or you still with your faulty item?? Im from Chile but luckily Im in the US right now so my replacement item will get on friday. But the touchstrip was broken I did a lot of things and was unresponsive, hope that the units last and the touch strip don't loose sensibility because the concept is awesome and I will left the US so I will be in the same situation as you, Its a shame that NI have not international cover of their warranty.

    I'm still with the faulty item, and dont have a way to replace it. I exchanged several e-mail with a guy from the support of native and he told me that as I did not buy my item in my country I have no guarantee. So would be responsible for all costs, shipping and repair. That's a shame, since I spent a lot of money with the products of native and I have no support.

    I'm having the same issue, and have contacted my seller and native instruments. Unfortunately, I bought this item second hand. Did you buy yours brand new and had a receipt with you when you brought it to the US for replacement? How did the process go about? Thanks.
