I have a maya 44 + TP and I wanted to know is there a way to keep the headphones from playing the main track when listening to my headphones?

    Thanks!

Yes.. set your preferences to Internal mixing. Assign main output to output 1 & 2 and monitor to output 3 & 4. Then, instead of plugging your headphones to the small Jack plug, you should plug to output 3 & 4 (you might need a small amplifer to achieve this)

Otherwise, if you can go throu an external mixer.

Unfortunately, I think that you can't route outputs separately to the headphones plug on the card itself.. but not 100%sure.

check as well the maya44 controlpanel and make sure outs 1&2 and 3&4 are set up to work independent.

How do you set them up separately?

Thanks! So does the settings on TP still work? The volume and such?

In external mixing mode, volume and Eq will be managed by the Mixer you're using (check TP's manual for cabling etc). However, you can still use Internal mixing, but you'll send the main out on on channel with the full mix, and the second channel will oly be used for cueing

    Glad I could help :)

For teh trigger finger, I think that pads are assigned to keyboard notes, not control change.. I've never tried assigning contols with velocity in TP so can't help)
