    Hello,

I upgraded my TP2.5 to TP2.6 and I beat locked all my tracks before the upgrade to avoid what is still happening:

I took hours and hours to sync my tracks properly and now even if the "beat lock enable" is on for each track, when I load a song in a deck TP 2.6 is analyzing it and move my grids

I really don't know what to do to avoid that. And I am scarred about having to do the beat gridding job again and again for thousands tracks. that sucks a lot isn't it.

Any clue on how to let TP2.6 render the waves without killing my grid-job?

Screen captured attached for more details.

    thanks

when you right click > analyze, what does the dialog say. can you post a screenshot from that?
also, from where are you analyzing? explorer or collection node?

too late, I did re-analyse and assign grid start markers for all my tracks yesterday night and today. I am ready to mix now.

Hope it won't need to be done for every version update because it's taking 10-15 hours for 1000 tracks. what a waste of time.

I cannot confirm this at all. Re-analysis for 2.6.1 was carried out for key detection purposes only. NO re-analysis was required when going from 2.5.0 or 2.5.1 to 2.6.0.

Locked grids should not have moved. Now, of course I cannot rule out that there was a bug which affected you but not me. But one picture by you doesn't constitute proof. If Traktor indeed shifted grids when going from 2.5.0 or 2.5.1 to 2.6.1, you have every reason to be upset. However, you would need to spell out in more detail how one can replicate the issue. Otherwise, your claim isn't credible to me.

I'm not quite shure if there probably is an issue with the beatgrids in 2.6.1
I do know well how to grid a track and do this for years.
So after gridding is successfull, I do lock the tracks.

Since going to 2.6.1 I suddenly find some tracks with analysys locked with offbeat grids.
Perhaps I just gridded them not properly before, but this did not happen that often before.

    Does anyone feel the same?

    Edit:
After unlocking a track with offbeat grid an clicking analyze it is most of the times correct.

if you still have the collection file and the folder for traktor 2.5 then there is a work around where you can get back the grids to the way they were
