    Hi all,

Am hoping someone can be of assistance to me as I have read the Traktor Pro 2 manual and done some searches but haven't really grasped how to get going with the Traktor mappings I want to create on my X1. (Both mappings try and emulate functions available on the S4)

    1) If deck is not playing, on the X1 when in 'hotcue mode' (button that is centred and about 2/3rds down controller), holding down a hotcue/hotloop slot button (these are the 16 buttons at the bottom of the controller - 8 for deck A, and 8 for deck B) when the deck is not playing starts playback (as long as you keep the button pressed). Whilst keeping it pressed I want to be able to tap the 'hotcue' button to get the respective deck playing (so it plays deck A if I am holding down any of the 8 hotcues on the LEFT side of the X1, and it plays deck B if I am holding down any of the 8 hotcues on the RIGHT side of the X1). [This emulates pressing and holding a hotcue/hotloop on the S4 and then simultaneously pressing the respective 'play' button for the deck]
I want to keep the original 'hotcue' button functionality (ie. toggling hotcue mode on or off on the X1) when it is not pressed in conjunction with any of the hotcue/hotloop slot buttons

    2) At the moment on the X1 pressing SHIFT and turning the LOOP knob adjusts the current loop left or right by one beat at a time. I would like to replace this with the functionality present on the S4, where the left side knob of a decks loop section (loop section contains 2 knobs on the S4) jumps the current active loop or playing position by the specified number of beats selected. Probably someone with an S4 will be best placed to help on this as I may not have explained it very well?

Any help pls? (Especially on the 1st point!)
If I can get the above up and running then I'm sure I will be able to handle mapping a button for Flux mode too which will be my next project...

    Thanks

I came up with something for point 1) above: (and flux mode)
    https://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/930

Hope it helps others out there. Every item in controller manager I changed has a comment by it so it is easy to see which entries I have changed - should help the learning process for others trying to learn about mappings (like me)

I would have preferred using the centre hotcue mode toggle button to start playable, but found no way to map to it :-(

Really hope someone can help me with point 2) above
