TP2 Will Not Work With Controller's Soundcard.

I have a Vestax Typhoon Controller with a built-in sound card that worked perfectly with Traktor Pro. But as of now it will not work with traktor 2. When I select the Typhoon as the audio output everything in Traktor ceases to work. Traktor will literally no longer play songs, recognize any of my controllers (x1, dicers, and typhoon) yet when I select "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC" Traktor works perfectly except it runs through my laptop speakers which is obviously an issue.

Also at the bottom of the audip preferences there is a "Built In Soundcard" Section. I Have no idea what to select for that. Any help is appreciated. I am stuck not being able to use TP2 and NI will not respond to my tickets.

 

Try reinstalling your Vestax audio drivers

 

THough now when I plug in the Dicers (I have a previous mapping from TP loaded) it just ruins everything and it says the ASIO for Typhoon is not connected. Runs fine without dicers, but I love those damn things so I gotta figure this out

^ Idk where my last post went but I got the problem resolved and got the soundcard to work. But now it's the dicers that are acting up

 

@adavis, I am having that same issue with my HP 8440p - Im going to try to reinstall my Vestax Drivers to see if that works.

 

I got the typhoon to work by setting the ASIO4TYPHOON driver to "Kernel Streaming" and "Exclusive Mode" and then chosing the "Asio for typhoon Driver" in Audio Set-up as opposed to the "Typhoon COntroller (SHared" that I used in TP.

But now I can only use my X1 and Typhoon. If i try to use my dicers it says that Asio for Typhoon Driver is not connected. I cannot figure it out.

 

hmmm in the ASIO4TYPHOON it only gives me a microphone setting...

amazing...... lol this darn internets is crazy! Thanks much... been fighting with it since T2 came out and now this riddle has been solved.

 

ha no problem that video saved me.

Now if only someone made one showing how to get my Dicers to not ruin the whole damn thing
