    Hello all,
I recently upgraded to traktor Pro 3 to take advantage of the streaming options. However, I am running into some beatgrid issues while using the streaming songs. The analyzer skips the first 4 beats of the song, but places the beatgrid on the correct location. When I attempt to reset the grid to the start, it will not allow me to place the beatgrid on the appropriate spot. There is a limit on how far back the start of the beatgrid can be placed. Nudge functions won't work, and snap/quantize settings have been toggled. Hoping someone has a fix. Cheers.

you could try to set a hotcue at the start, then change it's type to grid and delete the autogrid.

Worth noting that I've occasionally seen this same behavior with non-streaming songs (local files). From what I can tell, Traktor will not assign gridmarkers outside the start/end of a song (no timestamp, null pointer). It's possible that the beginning of some songs are truncated ever-so-slightly, which implies the first downbeat is out-of-range.

NI could hypothetically address this issue by supporting negative timestamps for gridmarkers. I hate suggesting workarounds to compensate for missing features, but... I personally set my gridmarkers on the downbeat of a drop or phrase later in the song because they often have better transients, and beatjump backward 8-16 bars to set intro hotcues (as long as they're in-range).

Tempo nudge should work. Do you have the "Progressive Sensitivity" enabled under the Transport tab?

It's just strange to me. Maybe I have been lucky, but I played with traktor for years and don't remember this problem. I also took a 3 year break, and am just getting back into the swing of things so maybe my memory is just bad. It would be great to have some negative space pre-intro to work with. I don't feel that this would be too difficult of a feature to add, but I am also not a programmer. I appreciate the reply!

I have not tried enabling this yet. Nudge function is no good though as of now. I will update when I get to my setup. Thank you!
