Gotta say I did not have many problems with the TPro 1.0. However, now that I've upgraded to TPro 1.1.1 I have a belter of a problem. No doubt some fellow users will be able to help ;). I will consider and try all responses so please if you have thoughts get them in a reply to this.

When tracks are playing I hear, in the background, the odd little muffled glitches. These were really apparent when I listened to a recorded set. They don't appear in all tracks, but mostly in tracks that have a hefty bass line or a really intense set of drums. They also appear when I have one track looping a 1 bar loop in the background when another track is playing.

As I write this I have latency springing to mind, but to be honest, I know nought about latency and what it should be set at. Spec of my setup is below.

Ideas? Plenty of people will have the same spec setup as me so what are your latency settings if you don't have this problem. If it is a latency thing that is?

Maybe a gain level issue? What if you lower your master level and lower the bass EQ in your loop? Layering tracks, deep bass and heavy kicks can give you clipping levels. I have a MBP 4GB and haven't noticed a change from 1.0.2.

If your hearing the glitches when playing live then that might have something to do with latency. Raise your latency and see if the glitches go "away". If your hearing glitches in recorded stuff then I think that sounds like clipping.

What is your Master Level set at in TPro?

Traktor Pro with a 4D runs pretty hot level wise at my end. I knocked the master level back -2dB in Traktor (it probably should be even more when you throw in a 3rd or 4th Deck plus any FX). I'm sure I read somewhere about -5dB but then again I could have dreamt that. I find that I have to pay much more attention to my levels but have also realised that it's another way of manipulating the "sound". The fact that Traktor will not allow you to alter a Tracks analysed Gain level seems a bit daft to me but, sorry, that's another topic.

So anyway, check all your levels and up your latency to see if it cures the live glitches.

You should check the Key Match setting.... if you have it set to Hi-Q, try ECO instead.

While I've not noticed this before 1.1.1, in the current release, Hi-Q is totally unusable because of the artifacts it induces into the audio... like a ton of small corrections in the pitch and tempo.

Try ECO and see if you don't hear a difference.

    Check this thread as well.

Thanks to the 3 replies to my thread. I have solved the problem and the sound is sorted, perfect in fact!

The Key lock button/settings were causing some issues but also latency. Key lock requires some attention from Native Instruments. How can it work perfect on a Pioneer CDJ but not on a computer?

    Anyway thanks again!

Now I await the next update to broadcast my tracks to twitter:cool:
