    have a look into your traktor2-directory ...

there you find a file called "collection.nml" and this file you can backup and then reinstall Traktor. After that copy the file in the Traktor2-directory and you have back all tracks with their beatgrids etc ...

BTW: ALWAYS DO SOME BACK-UPS OF YOUR COLLECTION (at least every two weeks !)!!!!

    cheers mork

  3. Doesn't it automatically backup the collection every 90 mins (or whatever you set in preferences)? And how the hell do you turn that feature OFF!?

In the preference menu, you can tell Traktor not to backup the collection.

Choose backup collection every .... 0 (never) minutes (drag the slider to the left ! not to the right (90min))

And yes Traktor does some backup, whenever you leave the program ... but sometimes (every two months) it occurs that Traktor writes a corrupt-like collection, and if you then load your collection again, all bpm are integers ... (but this is a different story - see "collection disruption") Therefore I do always have some backups, because I spent so much time into the collection ...

    Cheers mork

  5. D'oh! I nevr noticed that, I always thought that to the left was more frequent, and to the right was less frequent (the max being 90 mins).... thanks
