New Track load time

Hi,

I know there have been issues since v3.5.0 regarding the load time of certain files. I also know these issues should have been fixed in 3.5.1. Unfortunately, I still have issues loading tracks. I only have FLAC and MP3 files and it happens with both but not all FLACs or MP3s. I found it quite random. Traktor is running on Windows 10 21H1 and the attached controller is a Pioneer DDJ-SZ. The issue also occurs with CDJ-2000 Nexus (i have a different Traktor Settings.tsi file for both devices).

All files are being loaded from an external HDD. I have disabled all powersaving abilities from the external HDD).

A previous (3.4.2) of Traktor does not have this issue.

The current beta of Traktor also has these issues.

I’m having same issue
I’m glad it’s not only me
The newest beta is working better but there still is a small lag with big files
I even get screen lag when the actual track loads for a split second on small tracks and longer lag on long tracks

 

I have the issue also with single track FLAC- or MP3-files (35-40MB for FLAC and 5-10MB for MP3).
