This has happened twice to me so far, the tracks sound as If I did the old back spin cut transition on vinyl but they are moving forward and cant be stopped! I have this feeling it has something to do with the Xone 2d, some midi mapping but I cant remember if it happened before I hooked it up. Either way, it horrible, its just as bad as crashing. I have version 1.02 and I believe it happened on version 1.01. TSP.

I tried a bunch of different combos of button hits to make it stop and couldnt, even loading a new track will start playing at hyper speed. What did make it stop was going into preferences and switching from internal to external mixer mode...Thats also a lot of silence.

    Anyone have this happen?

Nothing to do with the xone i'm afraid. Just got the same issue here...I recently updated to TS Pro 1.02 on a MBP 2,5Ghz - 4GB memory - OS X 1.5.5

Thats good to hear, because I had submitted a support ticket and made the mistake of saying "maybe its my xone2d" That kinda leads the support team to think thats the case too, since they dont have a Xone2d there is no way to figure out the issue. Do you know how to reproduce the bug? That seems to be key, knowing how to reproduce the bug.

I suggest you fill out a support ticket as well. Although the techs (moderators) here are great, they are also very busy.

    I went here:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/k...g+Tips+for+Windows+Vista+for+audio+processing

and it seemed to make a difference...seemed...I hope.

I think I got this slightly more narrowed down, I went into the deck preferences. Removed my label and instead I wanted to see key. Then I closed preferences and loaded a track and it started up, the running horses that is.. I tried to duplicate this but I couldnt, but this is very close to what I did prior to the bug biting me. Unless its like a eight step bug.

Im not sure if this is another bug, but key is being shown in my browser based on the number key system from mixed in key. But in deck prefs it shows up as a percentage, doenst even show me the number..example...10A. If I plan on using key lock I would never care about that percentage only if Im harmonically straight or not..IF Im not using keylock that percentage can come in handy for tuning I guess

Thanks for the page, but I'm running os x.

I noticed the audio8 was on "phono" rather than on "scratch vinyl/cd". Corrected the setting and haven't had it since.

This is confusing even more so now, because Im using Traktor pro with no time code and not an audio 8 anymore, but the drivers do exist on my system, so my problem appears to not be dynamic with yours, making those adjustments and not having the issue return. Every time I use the system at one time or another this happens and that means this cant be trusted to be used in a live situation. If there was a way to stop it quickly maybe, but I havent found that yet, have any of you figured out how to stop it when it starts?

having the same issue in demo mode. been banging my head to try and get it sorted.

its as if a 33 'record' is being played at 45. on internal/external mode w/no time code.

when i use time code vinyl, it the music will sound fine if i turn off key lock then put the turntable at 33rpm, when my preference is set up for 45rpm.

ill keep trying to figure this one out though since i have yet to purchase it yet and am still in demo mode.

everything was working just fine up until yesterday.

I think this going to be a tuff one to fix based on no one being able to force the bug into action...Can you please put your system specs in your signature...I have to be honest, once this bug is fixed I feel Im home free. Yes there are others but they dont render the ware unusable.

I had this problem yesterday - reinstalled the Audio8 drivers, works fine now.

    This was on a Mac

One of the techs told me to use the audio 8 as my sound card and my 2d as my midi controller. I will be testing that configuration today.
