Tracktor Pro and Novation Nocturn, a strange problem with buttons.

I am mapping out various control and play/cue don't work properly. I have to press them twice. Once I hit play, after I've stopped the deck, if I want to play it again I have to press the play button once (led turns off) and then a second time to actually play the deck (led turns on again)

Normally I'd like to avoid this 2 step, on/off stage the buttons have and play every time I press the button.

I have the buttons mapped as buttons and have tried all options (direct, hold, toggle) but I get the same result.

Any ideas?

any options in the automap softare concerning the buttons acting (direct, hold, toggle) ?

 

My experience with Automap being "getting rid of it" i'd suggest the same as procrastinator

 

Yes, they're on toggle, but I also tried all other options... Nothing works ok.

 

a combination of toggle in traktor and direct or hold in automap should do the trick, just give it another try.
I remember mapping a nocturn for the effect section of traktor and ran into a similar problem so i´m quite shure a certain combination will work.

 

Indeed,a combination of TOGGLE in Traktor and NORMAL in Automap seems to work. I will do further testing. Thanks.

All is going well so far except I can't get the crossfader to work. It seems it doesn't even send any midi data.

later edit: I sort of found a way around this issue. Manually choosing a CC value in the Automap Server and then the same value in the Traktor settings got the crossfader to work.
