Hi guys..looking to buy software as a backing track for my band which i can also edit live. I also need to have a seperate mix with a metronome that goes to a drummer.. Would like also to be able to trigger songs to start and stop by a midi controller.. I know ableton can do this but i was wondering can tractor le? I have a few other ni products and would prefer to stay with them if possible.. thanks in advance

What do you mean by editing live?
Traktor LE can send out a metronome singal. you can adjust the speed of it to be the exact speed as the song your playing. this signal is sent to the headphones cue. You can simply assign this cue to the drummers headphones, however when you prelisten to a song then the drummer will also hear the song that you are prelistening.
You should try the Traktor Demo which will give you a better understanding of how the prelistening feature works.

Traktor LE comes with 3 effects (Delay, Flanger and Reverb) and a fully functional high and lowpass filter. If you have a soundcard with inputs you can route the signal of your band through Traktor and add effects and filters...
