My question is, are these guys still working at NI? Are they still involved in the development of the tractor? I'm talking about the first three, the project manager who demonstrates the mixing on d2 at the beginning, and after the two engineers who give interviews.

    can someone own this information?

As far as I know is the current Product Manager of Traktor Pro or the "Product" Traktor in general, feminine. If it would be still him he would have needed changed his gender :) With the names and linkedin it should be easy to figure it out.

Let me dream, where we could be now, in case that they would still work on Traktor.

Do you not like the visions they had at this time and don't you think the Traktor product line could be on a completely new level if this guys would have continued with there work ?

Yes, Stems did not get accepted by DJ's as it was expected but with some tweaks I think this may have changed.

I think the tractor chose the wrong path after 2014.

Stems was not accepted because it is a very limited format(generally it is just improved eq). Stems should be a continuation of the Ableton clips format, or patterns in the Maschine 2, but only for DJs. If the traktor developers listens to the advice I have written here:
Suggestions for Ableton path (Stem, Remix Decks, Live Looping) | NI Community Forum (native-instruments.com)
They will take this market completely and completely even from Ableton.

The main idea is the ability to save the stem format in Maschine 2, with such parameters as
    - pattern
    - increase the tracks to 12 channels
    - scenes (hot cues)
    - step seq.

And then expand this file into the tractor deck

Imagine you have two Machine + a mixer in the middle, and you can manipulate it all.

You will get the same flexibility and depth as Ableton, but it will be in control like a tractor

All this would be great and there should be even more. Total flexibility for everybody who want it.

My opinion is that there are 2 kind of DJ's

    - Mainstream which are only doing the basic things
    - Creative once, DJ's who want to give DJíng a new dimension.

Unfortunately at this time all companies are targeting only on Mainstream

This logic can be understood, because the "mainstream" product is more profitable for business.

However, in addition to the fact that the tractor occupied only the budget and medium segments in the sale of equipment and software, it is also poorly implemented. And the weakest parts of it are the browser and stability. So even where a tractor means it is, other products are superior to it. It is worth saying that the s2/s4 controllers are good controllers, but the tractor pro 3 is 5 years behind these controllers, so a strange dissonance is created: How can you make such excellent controllers, but such a buggy and non-functional unreliable software?

And of course, there is no tractor in the "mainstream pro", for some unknown reason, or as you say creative, that is, in the "live performance" controller.

And s5, d2, s8 were originally an engineerin mistake, these products were originally made with errors. I love the S8, it warms my soul, but when you use it, you get the impression of an imperfection that is stuck between the mainstream and the live performance controller. He has lost jogs, but has not yet gained depth and capabilities
