I'm confused, so if i have TSP i only have the pay the $79 to upgrade the software? There's no option for it in the shop, it's just the traktor pro update. Clarification?

But yes, since you have TSP, you need to pay only 79$ and you'll have the TSP2 software upgrade. You can count on this statement.

Come on over, Karlito, I'll cook you up some homemade spaghetti bolognese. The older one gets the lower the capacity for learning new stuff, in general. For example, after I finished making my S4 custom map, I forgot how to tie my shoelaces. Today, I fixed someone's VPN software problem and forgot how to get back to my hotel.

will there be any problems with the TSP2 download if we have TSP on a PC as well as a Mac? I am planing on using my pc as a back up.

 

No problems that i can think of. Just grab both installers after you have completed the purchase.
Im not sure of the exact procedure this time but after you have installed one and activated it with the serial number they should be available in your Personal Update Manager on the support pages.

 

Is there any info if the new CDJs 350 & 850 are supported via HID-Mode in TP2/TSP2?

 

This thread is huge.. and I dont have time to read it all.. I did try.. But can anyone give a definitive answer on whether or not the current sound cards Adj4/Adj8 will allow routing more than one source per channel.. or is only the new cards.. on djtechtools it states only the new ones (hence the ambiguity) I want to know if i need to upgrade my adj4 to use the sampler in external mode with 2 decks playing

1) with audio 8dj/4dj and software upgrade you can play TSP 2 software only with 2 cores features (loop, recording, etc) and internal mixer activated.
in this case you cant' play timecodes

2) only with the Hardware Upgrade you can play with TSP2 with Timecodes (vinils/CD)

max, you're wrong. You can use timecode in internal mode too. That's how the S4 will work.

walshyboy, yes you can merge channels to one output with the old A2/4/8. The feature is not dependat on hardware. Still, it'll be dirty to use the new features with a4dj in external mode as there are simply not enough outputs. A4DJ in internal mode will work perfect (same as S4). The A8DJ would work great, as you have more options to merge any two outputs and have a dedicated output for the loop recorder.
