Traktor 2.0 & Traktor Audio 10 & 6 Announced.

Yes two separate installs and if I'm not mistaken they use the same library so if you add a bunch of tracks in T2 and decide for whatever reason to switch to Pro those tracks will be in Pro. Although no that I type that it seems like there could be confusion between the way the T2 colored wave forms are analyzed and how Pro analyzes stuff. Can someone confirm if I'm right or wrong?

 

Chris, I'm afraid you're wrong.

There's an importer tool, which replicates your TP library & settings at install time and upon request. However, once the library is imported, it starts it's own existence.

It's basically the same as S4 - it copies the library and settings, but once copied, they are separated. There's also a way to repeat the import, AFAIK, but can't recall the exact steps.

And BTW, it is known that one could have all 3 versions of the library/settings in parallel on the same computer - T(S)P1; S4 & T(S)P2. The different versions of the app can coexist together and be used independently.

 

How come this is avail to buy rite now as hardware yet we have to wait till Friday to buy the software upgrade? My old boss at GC said they were told to put them out yesterday.

EDIT: he does say it uses the same library at 1:07 but he must mean it uses the same library at import then after that they're separate like you're talking about loop

I played my first gig with TSP2 last friday (that was brave, I know :lol but surprisingly everything went fine! I really like it, especially now that I have my orange control vinyl!

 

I had a bit of an issue yesterday with keyboard mappings doing unexpected things. But I installed my Xone1D mappings from TSP tonight and everything has been working fine whilst I've been building my set for friday 8th April..

I'm going to use TSP2 tomorrow (5th April) for a small gig
and then I'm just gong to jump head first with TSP2 for my Dubstep gig.

 

Hi, I'm interested in Scratch duo 2 (Audio 6) but i have few questions:
Can you tell me how good and loud are phono preamps (in thru mode), because I mix lot's of vinyls with mp3s ?
Is there some kind of internal phono input sensitivity for thru mode ?

 

How about not hijacking a thread, and starting your own? XD
