Traktor 2.11 cant read collection

So I updated my Traktor to 2.11.

Wanted to import my collection that I saved before upgrading as *.m3u playlist and all I get is "Could not read collection/playlist: playlist location"

I downgraded all to 2.7. thinking its the new 2.11 issue, but to no help.

I see that when exporting the collection I get the option of choosing between *.nml and *.m3u but when I want to import the collection, all I can choose is *.nml or *.* All Files, and it doesnt work with *.m3u.

Any solution to this?

M3U files are meant for exporting your playlists to other audio applications and are not suitable as backups, as they don't contain any of the Traktor metadata. However, you don't need to backup and restore your collection when updating Traktor. Simply install the update and launch Traktor, and it will ask you if you want to import the existing collection or start with an empty collection.
