4 decks are nce but in reality, who else besides the DJ will know you are on 4 decks?

Well, who'll know you aren't playing recorded mix CDs, either? That's not the point; the point is that you can do things you couldn't otherwise. Welcome to the Wonderful World of T!H!E F!U!T!U!R!E

BINGO!!! give that man a prize! Moreover of all the people that do know only other DJ's give the tinyest of a rats that you do play on 4 decks. All the punters care about is good music to dance to, thats it!

Hell, if you played the Sneaker Theme on a Roland Kazzoo 9110RQZ and it was good and danceable the punters probably would not give the slightest monkeys...

I remember when I first heard the 4 deck rumor about a year ago I was like " WOW! THAT IS GOING TO KICK A>S>S" Now that we have it, I don't think I will ever use it much

And what I do care is the FUN I have mixing 3 tracks at the same the time (not ready to 4 yet...) + the effects. The mixes you can create on T3 can be much more creative and powerful than version 2.62. Off course if you use right!

I really enjoyed version 2.62. I keep it in my laptop but I hope I don't have to use again!

I tend to only use 3 of the 4 decks because sadly one is taken up by the EXT microphone channel. If I use the 4th deck for tunes I ahve to remember to reset all the levls on it so people can hear myvoice (which I rarely do) so I just leave it be.

I like the three decks. I've found the 4th one useful for loading up loops or acapellas, but I lobbied hugely a while back for there being only 3 decks & a dedicated sampler or loop bank. I still think it's a good idea.

currently using traktor 3 everyday. i also use ableton but in a very limited amount. i should also note that i'm using it with fs2 and the last traktor update, the only time i have a problem is the initial start, but if i click on an effect before i start, the rest of the nite will be uneffected. its been pretty stable to date for me. i was supposed to get a ttm57 from rane in april to try for a while but that has yet to appear. the fine folks at ecler have lent me a nuo 4 to try for a while, although neat to use the t3 effects on mixer and be able to manipulate samples, its still faster with a mouse. you can however use the mixer with just traktor as well, kinda neat.
not neat enough to take it on the road tho.
