Do both of you guys own an DJM t1 and if yes are you happy with it?
I was thinking of maybe buying one next, but hardly found any feedback online....so, any comment is appreciated.
    Sorry for the OT.

i own one and am greatly pleased with it. i used to use my x1 and dicers now for the most part i just use my djm-t1. I has a lot of good features right at your finders and it IS re mappable. I added a few things like 'shift + pfl" will reset my pitch values

    To the original question: no.

After the reveal of 2.5 I immediately contacted the NI support, asking whether it will be possible to control the remix decks with any other controllers then the F1. The answer was simple and clear. No you won't. check out this article on DJ Tech Tools:

    http://www.djtechtools.com/2012/05/...htools+(djtechtools.com)&utm_content=Netvibes

It's a major bummer: I want to keep my setup as compact and flexible as possible. Controller wise i've got everything I need to take advantage of the 2.5 release, except for the fact that NI will be locking the functionality of the Remix Decks.

    Once again, bummer!

you cant have the full functionality of the remix decks without the F1. that was never a secret.

sooooo old news! NI said it in their FAQs on the website, NI said it in the TOTR again.

thanks for closing my thread fluke... yes it is being discussed on other threads but it's not plastered all over so its still a nasty surprise to most people... i started that one to have a clear debate on the subject and not hijack other peoples threads.... If DJ Tech Tools think its relevent then it deserves the debate to run its course....!

at least the message is getting out there slowly...YOU CAN ONLY USE THE REMIX DECKS WITH AN F1..!

Bro thats old news to you because your a moderator and your always on here. I on the other hand dont have allot of time to be checking up on every thread and every forum so this is brand new to me since i found out today and just like dannybyrne29 said it is a nasty surprise! Maybe you got the money to get as many f1 controllers you want but i dont.

I have a djm-t1 its pretty awesome btw

uhm, you alone have been posting the link in at least 3 different threads.

    a) not exactly true, you still can use the remix decks partly
    b) how long are the FAQs online - a month?

I'm posting it around so we can get it out there coz obviously NI are'nt shouting it from the rooftops are they and everyone is amazed by this... can't you see that..?... okay it's in the FAQs if you read them but people would just assume that it would be a midi mappable feature as other features in traktor... especially when that is they are making a big deal out of the remix decks in 2.5.... they should put "FULLY fuctioning Remix decks availible with F1 only" on it...!
even making it machine and X1 mappable would be a bit better as it would be looking out for its customers that are buying all this expensive kit...!

with an info one month old? nope, i dont see that.

continueing crossposting the same thing over and over in a dozen threads is against the forums rules and you will get an infraction if you dont stop it now.

Ok it was in the faq's a month ago cool i should have read that but how funny that every forum is NOW talking about this and not a month ago, Im going to shut up about this now and do one of two things.

    1. suck it up sell my apc 40 blue edition and get the damn f1 or

    2. Wait for some one to hack it and we all know its a matter of time that they will and use what ever controller i wish to use with it.

    Peace

oh, if you check a few threads in this sub-forum, i've already been answering this very question as well one month ago.

talking such is against the forums rules. continueing so will lead to an infraction.

well the side tracking actually did sort of address my concern ... point being there is nothing new that will be controlled by the djm-t1
