traktor 2.5 bugs

traktor has never been a problem for me since this update.

when using time code it will jump to a cue point about 10 minutes before the track starts. that was fixed in the last up date......

"Track collection" right click menu takes about 10 - 15 mins to load. when right click is pressed over the menu item there is a lot of hard drive activity and the menu will not load until that's finished. its nothing to do with my system running slow as i have a resource monitor up just to check it wasn't any thing running in the back ground.

also traktor has unexpectedly quit 3 times now. once trying to import a traktor pack and the other 2 while browsing the library.

where do i find my crash logs?

Since 2.5 I seem to be having an issue with my audio load meter going straight into the red and causing clicks and pops whenever i touch a jog wheel slightly or my timecode and make a very small movement . Basically anytime you line up a track. I have ASIO installed and thought it might be an issue with that but after numerous uninstalls of both ASIO and my audio 2 and audio 8 drivers (yes this audio load spike problem is consistent with both soundcards) I found nothing seems to help. It doesnt seem to be a problem with the drivers. Hope its a 2.5 issue that will be fixed...

 

Help!

Since the update, when ever i plug my Audio 6 into my laptop Traktor just completely freezes. It just doesn't respond and won't even close when i try to end process. If i load Traktor without the Audio 6 it runs perfectly. I have tried reinstalling the Audio 6 Driver and the problem still persists can anyone help?

 

Fresh install of mac and traktor problem still there. TRAKTOR can no longer be used for live performances until this problem is sorted

 

Traktor will not shutdown properly.... Everytime I close it I have to force quit. Also there GUI seems more cliche'.Will test it hout today hopefully it will not close out or act erract on me.

 

I've gone back to 2.1.3

2.5 was too buggy.

Someone needs to calls the bug exterminator haha

 

does this happen with CDs? i dont have this with vinyls...

please contact support on these issues! again, i dont have this on my computer.

 

and since the other issues here are a bit random.... please also, everybody report to the support. the more info the easier it gets fixing stuff!

 

Track jumping 10 minutes before the start

Just to give some additional feedback on the problem with tracks loading way before the start - I have exactly the same issue since upgrading to 2.5, I am using a PC with the v2 timecode CDs.

This is an incredibly frustrating problem which must be addressed ASAP!

It seems to be jumping the entire length of the song backwards from the start - and then some. I loaded an hour long mix into one deck and it jumped back by about the same amount.

What makes this problem even worse is that you can't just skip back to the Pre-load (Track 1) on the timecode cd and have it reset the play position. It now does nothing.

The software also crashed on me for the first time during the "loading track freeze bug" normally it comes back to life. Also, it would be really nice if Traktor didn't freeze up like this when you drag a track past the playlist bar. Surely NI can't keep releasing updates that do nothing to correct this problem?

I haven't had the same issue with any crashing during browsing.

 

Audio 8 not working

Since upgrading to Traktor Scratch Pro 2.5 with vinyl I have been unable to get my Audio 8 to work.

Every time I plug the Audio 8 in my computer (Samsung Series 7 Windows 7 64bit 8gb) it goes to a blue screen and shuts down. Without Audio 8 it works just fine.

Also whenever I try to access service centre, it stops working immediately and won't connect to it.

Aargh... Does anyone know whether it's something I'm doing wrong or bugs with 2.5?
