Traktor 2.6.1 Update - not available?

a downbeat is the first and major beat in a measure.

 

having same problem .Do i have to go to 10.7 for it t work .If so thats BS I been thinking about switching to serato this may push me over the fence.

 

Same problem here. Traktor won't startup. It freezes when loading the collection !

 

i know what it is but wondering what that actually means in the scheme of things...didnt it already do that with beat gridding?

Yes they have. It was confirmed via email to several users it would be added for version 2.6.

I was also told face to face at Bpm 2012 by Traktor staff that it was coming when I was enquiring about buying the z2. The main reason I bought the mixer rather than just selling my 850s and getting the 2000s!

 

still doing it every time i download it , I am getting failure. Service center is not even seeing it . Please help

vista (and XP) has not been supported since the release of 2.5.0... nothing new here!

 

Who was this because the staff at the show are the people that distribute for NI in the UK they are not necessarily NI staff.

 

So. Since I can no longer run Traktor on my Vista system I installed a new copy on a Windows 8 machine.

Can report that 2.6.1 is at least partially Windows 8 compatible. It runs. Only tested basic operation so far.

The bug in previous versions whereby Trakor remained running in the background after being closed has now gone. At least it's not shown.

Also all the horrible and lengthy lists of subordinate files and folders that messed up the Metro start menu tiles has been fixed.

p.s. Mmmh. Since installing Traktor 2.6.1 on my ASUS 202E laptop the machine has started hanging on both shutdown and startup. Event Log points towards kernel power 41 error which some posters on-line have linked to an audio driver conflict when you have more than one set available..

Uninstalling and waiting for an official release.

Is there one posted online anywhere? Any idea? I would like to check what's been fixed before installing. Had a number of problems with 2.6 and prefer to tread carefully now.

 

You can install the new version and if you don't like it you can just launch the old version. Traktor doesn't replace the old version it just moves the exe file to a backup folder. You can just go there to have the old version.

 

Just confirm the new update works well in Windows 8. I have tried it and it shuts down like it should.

 

This is not true. SDJ is 10.6.8+ and SSL is 10.5.8+

 

Oh I see. Serato DJ just kicked 10.5. Support.
