    Hi Guys,
I've been using Traktor v2.5 with a DJM T1 for about a month now. Previously been using mixvibes pro then cross for the last 8 years. Was always very happy with it but fancied a go of the infamous Traktor with a mapped mixer. All went well until I upgraded to 2.6 then had the following issues:
    1. Scratching with keylock now has nasty digital artefacts
    2. The fx buttons on the DJM T1 no longer works
Went back to 2.5 got rid of issue 1 but not issue 2. Spent hours tinkering with no joy. System restore in windows wasn't on so I couldn't go back to that as a last resort so just reloaded windows started from scratch and will not go any further than v2.5
Thought I'd say as my experience of this v2.6 is pretty shocking based on all the good reports I read about Traktor. Not so impressed now to be honest. I might try and map my mixer to CROSS but not sure if this will be possible. Shame really

Sounds like you had a simple mapping problem. Seems reinstalling windows was going a bit overboard. You probably just needed to re-import your TSI file. You can now easily edit default mappings as well in 2.6. No issues here using S4, X1 with timecode or the new Z2.

I only had traktor and adobe audition installed with a couple of other ancillary apps. Got a ssd so was done in no time wasn't too much of a hassle. I got to know cross really well so I guess 'It was just a lazy knee jerk reaction' wanting to map the pio to it. Ill stick with Traktor for a few months and see how it goes. I've actually not long posted my djm t1 onto eBay and am going to change over to the z2. There's a lot going for it from what I've read. Could you explain how you select and apply fx from the z2? It's not obvious how you do this from looking at the mixer itself eg change, select and use them versus the t1....Cheers

    Traktor Preferences>Transport>KeyLock

Have Mode set to Scratch and Quality set to HiQ

OK - thanks for the tip but I'm running 2.5 now glitch free. I've also go the 2.6 .exe. Could I, like I could with Cross, install 2.6 separately so I have both versions installed. That way I would tweak until my heart's content yet still have the stable version (well it is for me) until I'm happy to migrate across?
    Cheers. :)

Yes. Different versions of traktor install side by side so you can run whichever version you like at the time.

Dizee PLEASE report the 2.6 artifacts as a bug. I had the same issue. 2.5 perfect, 2.6 same setting is junk.
