Traktor 2.7.3 (R935) - Preview player bug ? - osx.

HI,

Wondering if anyone has experienced a bug with Traktors preview player, specifically the midi and keyboard mapping suddenly breaking mid set

Since upgrading to 2.7.3 i've found ( in the middle of live performances) ,that any mapping for preview player breaks. Midi is received ( seen in midi monitor), but the preview player refuses to work. I added a keyboard mapping for the player, but this also fails to activate the player, indicating the program has an issue. All other functions continue to work. I temporarily fixed this one time by re-import all settings via controller manager, but on subsequent attempts this did not help.

My midi mapping has been stable and unchanged for around 2 years, so this must be a program bug. I searched heavily, but could find no reports on this.

i have exactly the same problem. keyboard mapping for preview player (i think it's just the 'load selected') does not work after a few minutes.
still works on the S8, but not with other midi controllers..

I can confirm this bug in the version mentioned above. Tested with Denon MC6000MK2. Appeared regularly after 10-100x using the button. Midi Key is still transmitted correctly to tractor (works also with modifier). Appears so far only in combination with Load selected to Preview Player function. I can only solve it with Traktor restart (a bit difficult during live performance).

 

can somebody confirm that the bug is fixed in 2.8.1. cause in 2.8.0. it still existed..

Yes still broken in 2.8.1............. Please NI fix this asap, Traktor for me is useless without preview player.

Actually, I have two bugs with the player. The one decribed above, where its not playing after some time, and one where it does still play (Play/Paus works), but load/unload does not - so I can kind of use the player by drag/dropping songs into it, but cant use my mappings.

Both are a nightmare

people should ditch any version after 2.6.8 because they are all too buggy and uselss

Good news from my side here guys (Win 8):
in v 2.9.0 the preview player works again!!!
Even after hours and also after hibernate...
Works like a charm!

btw: Even my mouse works on my 2nd Monitor with knobs and sliders - again
