Traktor 2.7 Update: Full screen issue

Hello!

Efter I update my Traktor to 2.7 I got a blank header on the player screen. It only appears on the fullscreen mode.

Look at the screenshot.

Any way to solve this?

I'm having this problem too. Really, really annoying. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, because while I can still use traktor without FX, it's going to be a massive pain.

 

search the forums , there is already a work around for this . No need to make a new thread for something that exists already

This is a different problem than the issue described in that thread. It isn't a scaling issue.

No, I had actually fixed the problem before seeing that thread. ellp, what worked for me was to downgrade to 2.6.8, disable fullscreen when starting Traktor, and turning "hiding" on for my Macbook's dock icons. It doesn't work every time, but it's much better than having the white bar whenever I try to use traktor.

 

I'm having the same issue, but only when I switch to full screen. I much prefer full screen mode is this is a rather annoying issue.

Any solutions?

 

version 2.7.1 is out, have you tried it yet?

 

I just did, but the same results.

 

*If you have a Mac*

- Turn "hiding" off by right clicking or editing the settings for the dock
- Open traktor WITHOUT full screen at startup (Note: I haven't tried this with fullscreen on at startup, but my way does work)
- Turn fullscreen on after traktor has opened properly

This works with Traktor 2.7.0 and 2.7.1, but I haven't tried it on PC. I only have a Mac.

I solved my problem by changing the 'Fullscreen Resolution' in the 'General Settings' tab from 'Desktop' to '1024x768'.

All set back to playing deep disco jams in fullscreen mode.

What worked for me on OS X:
- start Traktor (Not in Fullscreen)
- make all Decks a normal Track Deck
- restart Traktor
- Fullscreen

On my case, any other Deck mode (Remix Deck, Live Input, etc) would cause that crappy white bar on fullscreen.
