I imported a song into traktor and was looping the drum roll on a house song. However in the middle of the loop the amount of the file that it selects resizes??? why is that?

in other words when i press loop those two bars shift sizes.

    any help?

i am using traktor two... and you know how there is an "e" and there is an "s" and basically it creates a smooth loop within that region.. anyway if i do too much looping then the amount of space within that 'e' and 's' changes sizes..

in other words the selection of having an on beat loop thus becomes and off beat loop.. how can i fix this?

try one of those three links and it shows you exactly what the problem is... for some reason i i try another song before it then it throws the timing off.. then about half way it it works just fine and then starts tripping all of the sudden

Have you tried to beat-grid that song? It might be that Traktor recalculates the BPM based on the loop and gets off-track.

Or you hit some kind of hotkey that changes the loop size. You might want to double-check your hotkey assignments.

You might also want to consult the manual on setting beat grids. This thread is also helpful:

ok, besides the fact that you definitely should analyze and beatgrid your tracks.

but from the pictures i think you are mixing two panels wrong:

    - the loop panel
    - the loop move panel

    is it this?
