Previously I used Audio 8 DJ and Tractor PRO 1.2.7. The recording level was fine. Now, in the Traktor 2 PRO recording level is LOW:

In Tractor PRO 1.2.7 i set Gain on + 5.5
    In Tractor 2 i set Gain on + 12...

    What happened?

    Is your master output lower?

Are you mixing internally or externally?

    No, master output is normal.

External. I'm using Pioneer DJM700. I connected CH. D Audio 8 DJ to REC RCA input on DJM 700.

I have the same problem, well almost... I'm using A8DJ with TSP2 with turntables and DJM 800. I got REC out from the mixer in the IN 5, 6 on soundcard for the loop recorder and the level is really low, and on top of that it bleeds audio when nothing is being played or recorded into the loop recorder! Wtf?

It's a round about way, but can you run rca>jack from mixer (record out) back into computer and record using ableton?

In Ableton/Traktor 1.2.7 - recording level is ok.
Low recording level only in T2!

Same problem here on a Xone 62.

The same file at the same gain level is on Traktor 1 doesn't need nearly as much gain in the recorder.

What is the master out on Traktor set to? Somebody in another thread(I can't confirm as I only have 1.2.7) said that the record in is "post" master volume in Traktor. Seems really stupid, especially for anyone mixing externally. Again I can't confirm but maybe you guys can.

The problem with RECORD is that with T2, the record output is now AFTER the Master Fader, as opposed to before.

It's just about impossible to get the same record levels in T2 as in T1

If I turn up the master in traktor I have to turn down my mixer gains to prevent clipping and vice versa. The net effect is that I have to run at +12dB on record no matter what.
