The list of fixes and improvements in Traktor 3.3 doesn't say anything about character support, does that mean that with this update there's still no display of accents, umlauts, non-latin characters, etc.?

    Please don't say it's so.

What a shame! I'm really fed up with titles like these:

    ˆk„Ω⁄O˘Y∞r∞b∞N™E∞q∞b∞gŒS—È∂W
    Ÿ≠ŸZ⁄O‰N∆¶
    ≈ù∞™∞Ÿ

Does that still happen with ID3V2.3 in ANSI/ISO format?

I'm on a mac, I'm not sure if those formats are available there?
In any case, characters with accents, which you can write in Traktor, comes out wrong in any other application, and the same characters written in any other app is displayed incorrectly in Traktor.

I've had issues on my Mac & PC with File names that have funny characters... Using Itunes, Winamp, and just the file names on the hard drive.

They look fine on Beatport, but once downloaded...

    una mierda.

    :(

Re: Vista compatibility: I believe some performance tuning and tweaks to improve operation on vista is what is being mentioned.

No specific mention that NMX recording has been fixed... I'm hoping it comes under the heading of "various other fixes"...

Whatever you do - do /not/ hold your breath! We almost lost another member of the forums before he started breathing again after turning a very deep shade of purple.

    NMX Fixes

I've only recently delved into internal mixing and the NMX functionality of Traktor 3 - as I was a FS2 user and now Traktor Scratch. It's a great idea in theory, but seems to be quite buggy. The program is generally very stable, but NMX playback causes me problems. For example if I was to press fast forward or rewind whilst playing, Traktor quits unexpectedly causing me to lose any additional changes I performed to the mix or playlist order. I would love it if NI fixed this! Does that come under the additional fixes banner for 3.3?

    Now there's an understatement!

Myself and many others like boysteve have been *****ing about this for ages. I don't understand how a feature that works perfectly well in the previous incarnation of Traktor can't be made to work now. Go figure.

And don't hold your breath about NMX being fixed in 3.3 (see above posts)! ;)

In addition to my previous post:

I've also noticed that when overwriting your NMX data, for example redoing a crap mix by hitting play on the NMX transport, then hitting Record and finally disengaging play to overwrite previous NMX data, there is a slight (milliseconds) audio dropout and the currently playing track's phase meter can move quite a bit which puts it out of sync with the next record's cue point. I then have to use the pitch bend arrows to try and bring it up to the right speed which results in an audible change in pitch. Any ideas? If I press the sync button, it jumps to the right point, but is noticeable.
