Traktor 3.3 stays in demo mode

    I have activated it and the service center tells me all prgrammes are activated but when i open T3.3 it says demo mode and asks me to activate/buy/use in demo mode . Its a really annoying circle! If i go back to the Service Center it says its not activated even tho 10 mins before it says it was . Im running latest drivers and using the Leopard installer patch . I have a ticket with Registration support but am waiting for a reply. I am also going to upgrade the RAM and HD soon and am worried im going to have to go through all my problems again as I have to install on a fresh OS

    macbook 2.2ghz
    OS 10.5
    1gig ram

    I had a similar problem.

    Try to activate T3.3 as admin. For me this was working.

    How do u mean as admin?

    There are accounts on your system. One of them must be an administrator. This one has more rights an your Mac. If you only have one account, this is the admin and you have to look for another fix.
    If yu have more than one account you have to check which one is the administrator. Log in as admin, start NI Service Center and activate Traktor.

    Its a brand new Lappy so i only have 1 account setup

    Same issue here, tried removing .plists and repairing rights and still can't activate Traktor 3, but at least Traktor Scratch now works.

    Problem appeared since version 3.3.1.

    Very frustrating and disappointing to have such issues with an expensive profesionnal piece of software :'(

    my ticket number is #2007122210017898 im not sure if it will do any good to post it up but you never know. Im sure Support is pretty busy right now with all the new Traktor owners who need to get their free copy activated/up n running so i wont hold my breath

    Hey,
    I just got off the phone with NI. It appears it's a compatibility issue with Mac OSX 10.5 (I'm running 10.5.1 and I thought the latest patch was supposed to cover anything up to 10.5... maybe something happened between 10.5 and 10.5.1?) They said an update should be out soon under Service Center. My curiosity is with why one of my programs has no problem registering and isn't in demo mode and the other does have issues and stays in demo mode (Maybe because I registered the first under 10.5 and the other under 10.5.1).

    Just for show of consistency: I loaded the program, went to register. Service Center said it was activated. Checked the program, it's in demo mode! Go back to Service Center and it wants me to register again... Same thing over and over and over... never leaves demo mode! Curious... I checked out my Product Overview section without registering and the product is 'not activated'. Even more curious I check out the NI site and look under 'view my Authorization/Registrations' and it shows up as activated. We'll see soon if they come out with a patch in time!

    You have EXACTLY the same problem as me! Except im on )S 10.5 . My Traktor Scratch works fine is just Traktor 3.3 that stays in demo mode

    Same thing is happening to me with Kontakt 3. It has nothing to do with 10.5 incompatibility, however--exactly the same experience as you, but I'm running 10.4.11

    Still trying... Still trying...

    Having the same 3.3 activation problems since Christmas.
    Running Mac - 10.4.11. All the latest NI updates downloaded.
    Endless circle of Service Centre saying product is activated, then trying to open Traktor, and getting Activate/Buy/Demo box.

    It then keeps reverting to some other serial number, despite the correct serial number on my details on NI site. Also, don't get anything in activation key box (although Service Centre says it's activated without seeing it.)

    I realise that there have been holidays, but I paid for and have been trying to activate for nearly 2 weeks now.

    Mine is now working after swapping in their new .plist file so its just a waiting game of when they get back to u
