We will try to fix the lists showing from the other apps and might send you MiFa1969 a build to see if it fixes the issue for you. I am still not able to make playlists in Podcasts though so its weird it shows playlists if you cannot even make playlists in the app itself

kokernutz thanks a lot for investigating this, I think you got to the root of the issue! Unfortunately, as you might have found out already, the API doesn't give us any mean to distinguish between the playlists coming from iTunes and the ones from TV/Podcasts apps. All I can think of is creating a Knowledge Base article with your findings to explain the affected users how to mitigate the problem by deleting those automatically created playlists from TV and Poctasts apps.

Apple needs to enhance the iTunesLibrary SDK so the source app is an attribute on the playlist object. I'm a registered Apple developer and will submit the request.

 

This ghost playlist issue is not limited to Traktor. I'm experiencing the same with both Djay Pro and Virtual DJ, leading me to believe it's definitely an Apple thing, not the DJ software. I'm on a MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2020, running MacOS Big Sur 11.4, so everything is up to date.
