Traktor 3.5.2.297 Released on Native Access

Dear Traktorists,

We are happy to announce that the latest version of Traktor (3.5.2) is now officially available on Native Access. We thank everyone for their participation in the public beta. Your input is invaluable.

We’d like to encourage everyone to stay tuned on this forum and report any issues that you may encounter. We are here, monitoring your feedback which is always of great value for us.

Why Design A Unit, Release To Public For Purchase, Get Questions About Users Bad Audio Experiences Regarding Your Products, Read Them But Don't Act On Them?

Online Services Really That Important, Amongst Other Requests From Traktor Users, That An Issue Such As This Be Turned A Blind Eye On?

Speaking On Behalf Of ALL Those Users Owning These Hardware Products

 

Great to hear from you Allan and keen to hear more about the forthcoming road map.

This kind of positive open discussion regarding planned Traktor development is long overdue from NI. Just really happy to see it!
Lots of us want to stay in the Traktor ecosystem long term and promises for long awaited new features will go a long way to keeping us locked in!

- Support for Denon Prime/Rane/Phase hardware.
- Tidal streaming.
- Soundswitch integration with phase detection.
- Elastic beatgrids.

I really see these as absolutely essential for Traktor to keep up Serato/Rekordbox etc.

 

Going by the feature request board, where NI/Traktor Team asked in 2018 for us to be active/vote, this is the current picture of unfulfilled feature/fix requests:

Feature request count has changed over the last 6 months btw, the top 3 now look like this:
1 - Flexible Beatgrids with 28 votes
2 - Library/Metadata fixes & features (Metadata handling - Multi-value tags (i.e. more than 1 genre) with 26 votes (plus Metadata handling - Custom tags/metadata with 10 votes - both I'd consider part of the same new feature set, hand in hand with a browser update [so that it can i/o, display & sort multi-value & custom-fields as well...] as well as smart playlists being able to read these...)
3 - Quantize Value - ability to change from just whole beat for track decks with 21 votes

Whereas #2 is my #1 by far, as Traktor is still destroying user curated metadata in every track it analyzes... and this should have been fixed years ago imo; as well as adding 'modern' metadata support (aka, according to the multi-value spec from 'November 1, 2000' for id3 when 'v2.4 was published' [-> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ID3#ID3v2 ]...)

Silence at this stage, after an announcement usually means it’s on its way. Everyone is keen to know what’s next. Hopefully it will be this week. I’m hoping for a good piece of new hardware and software, Traktor 4? Let’s see what happens.

Anyboby can be one too. NI is taking applications to private beta test Native Access 2.0.

To me native access is like a dongle to activate your licence on your computer. But with 2.0 you’ll get the privilege of managing subscriptions also. Apparently NI is going this route for their production line of software as a way for people to dip their toes into the NI ecosystem.

 

No I’m just a mere Traktor user who has just purchased an S8 as I miss the fun of Traktor.
I have a Denon prime go small gigs. I have missed Traktor

I'm thinking about buying a denon, so I decided to take a closer look at the forum too. I am confused by the fact that there is no inside Engine OS, the ability to change tags

It's almost three weeks now since more info and details were promise about the future of Traktor Pro. I know all are excited to find out what the future of Traktor Pro will be. So, NI what's the future of Traktor Pro?

 

I don't know exactly where to put my question, so I'll just put it here: Native Access shows a Traktor update with it and in the description is no changelog. However, I have already installed 3.5.2 297

Have I missed something?
