    Hi Guys,
I have just installed Traktor 3 on a new laptop, imported all of my iTunes music.
When i load Traktor the iTunes Tab is present in the directory tree, and clicking on it brings up all of the relevant playlists that i have set up in iTunes and i can access all of the music. However when i try a search using the text field, and i type in a song name which i know is in my iTunes directory, it fails to find it. Also the history lists which i have imported show exclamation marks next to every track, even though these tracks are present in the iTunes list. How can i rectify this? I have a gig in two hours and i'm pulling my hair out!

My itunes music folder is siutated on an external hard drive, and the Traktor preferences are set up for this.

    Many Thanks

    Simon

    I have exactly this problem.

Although I can see all my iTunes music listed, Traktor will give me an error message every time I try to load a song onto a deck. My iTunes music is stored on an external Firewire HD

    The message reads
"WARNING: The track 03 Certified.mp3 could NOT be played due to a missing or corrupt file, unsupported format or DRM-protection"

This happens for all my songs in iTunes. iTunes knows where to find all my songs (which have been organised by iTunes and copied to the iTunes music folder), are playable formats and are not DRM protected. Has anybody else had this problem of a fix for us? Its driving me nuts!

have you guys added songs to your collections using the contextual (or right-click) menu?

Well I'm not sure which option to choose from that right click menu on the collection section. Which one would I use from that menu?

So far I have added/imported a file to my collection and shown TSP 1.1.1 where to find my iTunes music folder. Once analyised most tracks will play from the collection but it does not help tsp find them from the iTunes node which is what I really need.

If your tracks have '!' against them then the path must have changed to the track.
You can 'Relocate' the track and simply point Traktor to your iTunes folder.

In Preferences you must assign the location of your iTunes Library and in the browser must Import your music folder which IS your iTunes Folder.

    @MajikWorkz
You must import your music iTunes music folder on the Traktor Browser Collection Node.
The Traktor Search only searches the collection not iTunes so tracks not added to the collection will not show in a search.
Chapter 7 of the manual explains all this.
