    hello everyone,

i was curious if anyone else has been able to get a bcd3000 and traktor 3 le or traktor 3 to work on 64 bit vista. I have both programs loaded and i ran the bcd3000 drivers normally as well as in xp sp2 compatibility mode with no luck. the software seems to work fine on its own and the bcd3000 is recognized by windows as well as it works to pass sound through it (i.e. i have the master output of the bcd3000 running rca cables into my stereo) via windows media player. the problem is that traktor doesn't see it in the midi device area, however is does see it under the sound card input area. very puzzling. anyone have any ideas on this? i'm wondering if i should just dual boot vista 32 bit or even xp, although i'd prefer to get it to work on 64 bit so i can just keep one os going.

any help would be appreciated. thank you very much,
    squidot

Vista can handle the BCD only as Midi device on the port you installed it... try this first. ;)

I have tried it on all ports... none of them work. I have the same problem. It recognizes it as a sound device but nothing in the MIDI sense. I go to preferences in traktor and it shows nothing. Have you gotten yours to work yet?

Try your usb ports and use the one where the BCD3000 appears as "BCD3000" as midi device. It may appear also as "2- BCD3000" or "3- BCD3000", but this you can only see in other applications like the demo version of Traktor Pro or Ableton Live.
