Traktor 3 LE, Macbook, Total Control and a lot of headaches

Hey guys,

Hopefully someone here will be able to give me a hand. I recently purchased the total computer DJ in a box and have installed the software on my Macbook. For reference I am running Mac OS X 10.5.5.

Installation went peachy, but my issue is that Total Control does not work at all. Strange thing is that when I start up the software with TC plugged in, I am able to see it in the midi controller area, but I cannot tick on the box. I have tested the midi controller and it seems to work fine (pressing each button gets the appropriate sound) so I cannot seem to get whats wrong with it.

At the same time, I have tried running it in Fusion with a Windows XP build, and this is not working at all. Seems that the software installs fine but nothing else works, as when I try to start the software I get a momentary hourglass and then nothing. Hopefully someone can provide some insight on to what can be the problem.

Any help guys? Bit stressed over here as I have spent some money on something which is not working in the plug-and-play method promised.

Hi,

i use Tratokr 3 LE too an had similar problem. With Novation Nocturn.
I found out that the 3LE Version compared to the full version only supports 1 Midi Interface. As i installed Audio Kontrol1 also i think my problem resides there.....maybe is this the same problem you are facing.

 

all i have is just total control... no other midi stuff
