Traktor 3 LE - Track will not play

I am using a copy of Traktor LE 3 that came with my BCD3000.

This is what happens:

1. The tracks I select are able to load;

2. I can see the waveforms;

3. But when I press PLAY (forward arrow), the track marker does not move, and there is no sound - in other words, the track does not play.

Any idea what's wrong?

My soundcard is already set to BCD3000 (aggregated).

Output routing settings are as follows:

Monitor L: 3
Monitor R: 4
Master L : 1
Master R: 2

 

I am also experiencing this problem.
Have just installed the Traktor 3 LE software that came with the BCD3000. It installed and opens fine. I drag and drop the track on the deck but when I Click Play nothing happens. The PLAY light lights up on the BCD3000 But song does not play.

Im using a notebook with windows vista......?

 

mitk - I am running a Mac with OS X 10.5.

I looked at the troubleshooting section of the Traktor 3 LE manual - it suggests that the reason(s) that the track does not play may be:

1. the wrong sound card is selected; and/or

2. the wrong output routing setters are selected.

I have checked both of these settings but to no avail. Let's hope someone here has the answer!

 

Yeah thanks mate that fixed it! Was the soundcard I had selected. Now that ive got the song playing I cant seem to get the BCD3000 to control it>?

 

Don't have LE, could you please provide a screenshot for helping us figuring out your problem?

Ok got it all to work on windows XP, I had the wrong soundcard selected. However still could not get the heapphones to work. Was playing the sound through the computer, thus selected the computers soundcard rather then the BCD's. I am now trying to repeat the excersie on Vista. Can install the traktor fine but it does not like the BCD, From what ive read, as of yet there is no driver for vista? Same problem as in the most recent thread on here, THe computer reads the BCD as some USB thing, forget the title it gives it.

 

Did you have a look at the Phones knob? (in Traktor's internal mixer.)

Should be explained in detail in Traktor's manual, too.
