when i saw Kontakt 2.2 available today, i was like "er..i dont give a f*...i'd rather see Traktor 3.2!"

that said, it's a good sign that NI is keeping the November promise

Yes correct... "days away" but Friday will NOT be the release day. As far as I know we have a release _candidate_ coming, the final date is not quite yet locked in.

well that's just wrong for me now

i need to pick between my VAIO and my Macbook to take on holiday (I have 2 gigs booked there) and as I use Logic, I would only have to take 1 laptop if I could take the Macbook - all my work in 1 box.

now, it looks like the VAIO might be my best mate, but I wont have Logic with me

or

deploy XP Pro SP2 on the Macbook, which i have been avoiding since I bought it.

If I may ask: Will the release candidate be public? Or is that just (yet another) internal toy for you guys to play with, while we all wait?

If I could have had dual output on Parallels virtual PC, I'd have chucked Traktor inside a VM on the Mac but I only get 1 output hence no cueing.
Boot camp is the only option.

I dunno that toy is quite the right term... Anyways The RC will NOT be public. There are a few vital fixes that need to be validated in it, if they are not fixed you would not be a happy camper.

Well I'm flying on the 4th Dec

So I guess I'll come back (to the forum) next Friday 1st Dec and see what's happened during my 'absence'

By then, it will be December and it should have been released. If not, Boot Camp it is (and a big disappointment again, after October's one)

I would much rather have a well working release so I'll be patient. I have the new version of MegaSeg for anything this weekend. It's just not as fun as Traktor.

I also ordered the XSession pro so hopefully they both deliver at the same time.

I had another gig last night and Traktor ran flawlessly. It was either an interration with iTunes or one of my widgets causing something wierd.
