those are the main features traktor needs, as fast as NI can add them, and they will be back on form, before traktor 3 and the whole audio engine record, if NI add those features to traktor 2, then they will have another 5 years to work on traktor 3

nobody cares for that rubbish unless you use itunes, most dj's don't, most who do use virtual DJ

the biggest market of traktors is 4/4 dance music, rekordbox might become decent one day and traktor will be a dead horse because its lacking a few features all other programs have

You made your feelings quite clear many, many pages ago. We get it, you've moved on. I wish you'd just make peace with that decision and stop posting this type of stuff on here.
When Traktor Pro 3 comes out I'd be very glad to know your opinion on it but for now, please stop repeat posting your gripes about Traktor Pro 2 cus it's like groundhog day...

rekordbox, engine prime, serato have :

    sampler for each deck
    colored hot cues
    slip mode
    reverse play

the non priority features, but good to have for people who use multiple controllers are :

upto 8 midi modifiers in controller mapping
a blink out LED for end of track warning etc. where your able to set the timing of the blink, to get a play button blinking

the above 2, are probably more useful if you are using a single mapping config just going out to all ports

Personally, I still think Traktor does a lot of bread and butter DJ stuff as good as or better than the competition. It's the hardware support that lets it down. Support for just a handful of other industry standard multi-USB mixers (Rane 62/64, Pio S9 etc) allowing quick booth changeovers for professional DJ's rather than just the Pio 900NXS2 & Rane 2015 would really do the software a LOT of favours in the booth. I'd gladly pay more for the software if it allowed greater support for standard equipment which I suspect is why primarily people are looking at Rekordbox.

The 2015 has been supported for a while, and the 62 and 64 are both serato mixers, and have zero chance of being supported.

times are changing, you will have to use rekordbox or prime to play tracks, and just take along small pad controllers for the remix decks

professional DJ's use the events fixed setup's most nights, so the crowd does'nt have to wait 30 minutes to swap hardware over inbetweeb dj's

If it takes you 30 minutes of silence to setup traktor, you shouldn't be anywhere near a DJ booth. You probably shouldn't be left alone with sharp objects either.

it will take 30 minutes if you want to switch the mixer and untangle the miles of mess that is the cable routing

this is the average DJ booth beneath the hole in the fancy bench top

most people are too cheap to buy faceplates, to plug cables into on the benchtop

That is not a DJ booth. It's some catering tables on a stage. You need help.

it does'nt matter, alot of big clubs professional play have custom benches made to fit the booth. and they still won't have faceplates on the top of the bench to plug cables into

you can clean all of your cables up one month, and in a few weeks, they will be exactly the same as they were before you cleaned them up

Thats what I said - there needs to be MORE than just the MP2015 and PIO 900 NXS2 in the booth, especailly for Hip-Hop DJ's using DVS like myself. In my residencies I take my own mixer (Pio T1) and we set up an SL3 on the back pre-doors so changeovers between Serato and Traktor are literally a flick of the channel input switch. The issue here is if another Traktor DJ wants to get on, the Pio-T1, NI Z2 and none of the NI sound cards have dual USB, so its another jouney into cable land. NI had a great solution to this with their multi-core cables but I seem to be the only Traktor guy I know who uses them.

If your turning up to another venue supporting DJ's who 9/10 are running Serato with a 62 or an S9 and your 'that guy with Traktor' then you do the usual cable exchanges - not 30 minutes of silence, moreso i10 minutes of unnecessary messing about instead of swapping one cable. I totally get the Serato licence model, but Pioneer have made the s9 compatible with both Serato and Rekordbox, so by offering software with a familiar interface combined with great hardware compatiblity it's a tempting proposition, unles NI address the situation as I would rather stay with Traktor.
