traktor and vci-100 pitch skipping

ive been noticing when i adjust the pitch on my vci-100 it skips a number making it difficult to match. instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 its adjusting 1, 3, 4, 6, 8. is there an adjustment to make in traktor or does my vci-100 need to be repaired? Has this happened to anyone else?

 

i do remember changing the "analyze bpm range" to 120 to 140. i dont know if that is why its acting so strange. the pitch is now changing like 1.4, 1.6, 1.9, 2.2, 2.4 and the bpm is changing like 124.2, 124.4, 124.6, 124.8, 125.1, 125.5 and so on no matter how slightly i move the pitch on the vci-100. could have adjusting the analyze bpm range caused this glatch and if so, what are the factory settings to fix it?

 

I've always had the same issue with the pitch slider. What I do is after getting the bpm of the cued track closest to the playing track using the slider on my mixer, on the Traktor program itself, using the mouse (there is a small - + at the end of the pitch slide window) click on the - or + and the bpm will change by .1 so that you may match bpms exactly.
