Traktor effects are very limited. There is a whole world of brilliant VST effects available such as Sugar Bytes Effectrix to users of other DJ software like Deckadance and VirtualDJ.

Traktor FX's are not that limited.. you just have to learn how to use them..

Traktor being a standalone application makes it less prone to crashes due to dodgy interactions with hosts etc.

If you're not using Scratch control, you can easily route traktor's audio in any DAW using virtual audio cables (or soundlower or jackOSX on Mac) and apply any effect you want if you feel limited.

Great, so to maybe use VST FX in Traktor you would have to run three additional programs -- a DAW to host the VST's, a virtual audio cable and a virtual midi cable like MidiYoke. I think native support for VST's in Traktor would be a lot better.

If they can build it so there is no problem with stability when using timecode then I'm all for it...

I'd comment on my experience with Deckadance and VDJ but I've yet to meet a DJ that uses either... does it work OK in your experience Notecrusher?
