Traktor Audio 6 not working in other DVS

I want to use the Traktor Audio 6 in Torq 2. Unfortunatly the driver of the soundcard seems not working outside the Traktor world.
In Torq it is not possible to select Inputs and Outputs (see screen). To verify that it's not a Torq issue I tried it with Mixvibes Cross. In Mixvibes I can select the inputs/outputs, but the timecode signal won't make it to the DVS.

Any suggestions to get this thing to work?

Working on Mac OSX 10.6.8 and the latest soundcard driver V 3.0.0. R625. External mode with timecode CDs.

 

some software requires a specific sound card in order to work with DVS (traktor cant have DVS without NI certified sound card) or work at all (Serato doesnt work without Rane interface) could this be the problem ?

 

Torq 2 and Mixvibes do not need a specific hardware like Serato does. Many Torq 2 - Users use the Audio DJ interface which works without problems. The new Traktor Audio seem to have unfinished drivers - as you can see here in the forum in numerous threads. To be honest this is not the first time this happens to me with NI products..

 

All the Traktor soundcards I have used (Audio 2,8,10) come with fully working ASIO and CoreAudio drivers; and I have used them with several audio applications outside of NI ones.

You've probably got your Audio 6 set to 'Audio Through' on those inputs. Documentation for your Audio 6 soundcard is included in your Audio 6 installation.

 

the new audio drivers aint all roses but they work and i get perfect control over deckadance with traktor control vinyl, while trying to test Mixvibes it crashed twice and the 3rd time i just gave up on the settings so must be Mixvibes problem didnt try torq 2 but the soundcard works well outside traktor :S

PC driver might be a different situation.
Still waiting for somebody who can confirm that the different channels of Audio Traktor work outside Traktor software on MAC.

 

Is this issue still not fixed? Audio 6 DJ has many problems it doenst run on other softwares? Is there any way to fix this?

Or its the drivers ? im thinking in returning my audio 6 dj since im not sure if i should wait for new drivers to come out it maight be a problem with the sound cards and not a drive issue

I do not see a driver update since then, so I guess no news here. Mac users just can't use the device outside Traktor. Give it back and get something working..

Newbie alert. I've come over from the Torq forum as I've also got hold of an Audio 6 & want to use it with Torq 2.0.2.

I'm having the same problem.

You can't assign any of the outputs in the Torq settings.

Dunno if to return the Audio 6 OR keep hold of it & wait for an update?

 

Just tested it with Torq 1.5 & it works perfectly although you have to plug the Connectiv in as a dongle.

So I guess this is a problem with Torq 2.0.2!
