I wasted 2 hours setting up 200+ songs, then Traktor crashed. It did not save a single song. So now I have to waste my time to fix the grid and bpm of 200 songs...again. It is insane that a software like this does not have autosave function.....

You can make a simple hot-cue button combo to save collection. I always use this after changes, so I am sure it is saved before I close the application (or in the rare case it would crash, which on my Windows laptop, it never did yet in about 9 years time)

There's a command in the ctrl/click browser menu too. To be brutally honest if you don't save after doing 10 songs, never mind 200 songs then it might be a good lesson whatever software you use.

But still autosaving is not rocket science. One would not have to think about saving changes often...

Indeed it isn't and I'd love to see it too but personally as much as it sucks I wouldn't say ditch Traktor just over that. If it's a legit version then you either sell it or learn your lesson and get into it. After 25+ years of earning my living using computers my save keyboard commands are pretty hard-wired.

Agree. Traktor has crashed me just once in few years. It seems to me to be pretty stable SW.

Never experienced Traktor crashing on me. I'm still on W7 using v2 though. But thanks for the save reminder.

Yeah, honestly given how critical the situation can be when you use it, my experience is that it's generally pretty damn good considering what it's actually doing. Anyway, ....good to vent but good for you seeing the broader picture too. Cheers

tomo2 I edited your title so other users actually know what this thread is about. Please try to avoid clickbait titles since it's not giving us an idea on the topic and prevent users to land here with a search. Thank you :)

i am a little confused at how "it has always been stable for me" is supposed to be helpful to someone else for whom it wasn't...

It might indicate to the person having stability problems, that there is a problem with his particular setup. That it is a specific, not a general problem.
