Traktor DJ 1.6.1 770 + IOS 8.1.1 + NI Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2

Hi All,

Just would like to ask if Traktor DJ 1.6.1 770 + IOS 8.1.1 + NI Traktor S2 MK2 all work perfectly together?
Are there are any compatibility issues that I should be aware of before i purchase the deck?

Hey Guys,

I don't mean to answer my own question but just would like to share this in behalf of every one.
I had the chance to try out the traktor DJ IOS 8 on the ff using apples camera connection kit:

NI Traktor S2MK2 with (IPAD MINI 2 & IPAD 4 both with IOS 8)
NI Traktor Z1 with (IPAD MINI 2 & IPAD 4 both with IOS 8)

The music played, but the S2MK2 & Z1 did not work, only thing happening was that the recording function of Traktor DJ popped out on the upper right home screen of the ipad, but when you take a look at the Traktor DJ app. It wasn't recording at all.

Well You need to plug the S2 Mk2 and Z1 directly into the iPad to start. Not into a camera connection kit. You can only use one at a time, not both at the same time. If your S2 and or Z1 was second hand and did not come with a 30 pin to usb cable you can get one directly from Native Instruments here: http://www.native-instruments.com/e...rol-media/pricing-usb-cable-for-z1-s2-and-s4/

If you have a newer iPhone or iPad you can use a 30 pin to lightening adapter to complete the connection.

 

Traktor DJ does not work with the Camera Connection Kit with the S4MK2 or S2MK2. You must use the Traktor DJ 30pin cable.

The camera connection kit is for using the NI Audio 6 or 10.

Thanks! Thanks for the help. So does that mean if i use the 30 pin to 8 pin connector to the traktor dj s2 mk2? Things should be running smoothly already?

i dont want to end up spending more money than i should already have since i already bought a camera connection kit cable?
