I confirm. It's just ridiculous. If these effects are important to you, don't upgrade!

I feel really lucky I've not update to 1.6.2, I've a clean backup with ios 8.2 and traktor 1.6.1 and all work properly. I don't understand why, if as real professionals have demostrated, ipad + traktor s2 is next frontier of djing NI wont invest in a f....ing bug fixing of this app. I've invested time and money in traktor dj and s2, and I don't want to come back on my step-walk and bring my laptop with me when I Dj. I cross my finger that s8 and s5 will be a big flop for NI, and wait for Ipad pro release, there's no need of a laptop for djing anymore, come on NI, go and develop Traktor Dj for ipad, Come on is your f...ing business, come on!!!!!

    Hi keng,
Totally agree, i also want never come back to a laptop. I am also in the same lucky situation as you are, I use even 1.5.1 (most performant version including effects support), together with my S4 or Z1. I had never any crashes, works perfect. Same with 1.6.1 on another iPad, works perfect (but less perfomant then 1.5.1.) - What I do not know: do older version (e.g. our your version 1.6.2) work well with iOS 9 (including effects) ?. I am close to update my iOS and together with my older TDJ. But I need the effects too, so I have concerns.

Any experiences with well working older TDJ versions on iOS 9 ?

sadly true, cue. and Yes, 1.5.1 is really more performant than 1.6.1 but I'm stay with 1.6.1 untill ipad pro release, after that I'll buy one and try to use 1.6.2. I don't know why NI doesn't want to invest more in traktor dj for IPad, seriously If I where a cheff of its customer care I'm sure I should know yet what users, really professional ones, say about my company, finally should be my work reading and hearing customer opinions. but I'm starting to think NI is much more oriented to cover the market of Fluffy BedRoom Djs. I met A guy Called Gerarld and spoken with him 'bout the real innovation that's behind Ipad + Controllers for Dj-ing. When You tilt the floors of international festivals with hundreds or even thousands of people, and the day after you've to go at 3000 miles far for performing in another festival you wont bring with you computer, controller, bags, and bags, searchig for internet connection for buying new tracks that are released the day you will perform in, for tilting the floor with fresh tracks. I use iTunes match, and sometime I download tracks on my IPad while I'm performing. but sorry, NI, I'm as little as my has hole... really don't know where NI will go in next future, if they wont to stay in the market or leave spare space to Dj Software like djplayer. I'm sure s8 and s5 will be a flop!
